Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers (MMTCs), also known as medical marijuana dispensaries are vertically integrated businesses, and are the only businesses authorized to cultivate, process and dispense medical marijuana to patients and caregivers. These business’s are regulated by the Florida Department of Health’s Office Of Medical Marijuana Usage (OMMU). Currently their are over 550 dispensing locations in the state made up of 22 licensed MMTC’s.
