The Artis Naples complex is Southwest Florida’s prestigious fine art and performing arts center. It is residence to the Naples Philharmonic and the Baker Museum, and it also hosts more than 300 concerts, performances, exhibitions and educational events for kids and grownups yearly in support of the organization’s mission led by CEO and President Kathleen Van Bergen and Music Director Andrey Boreyko to create and present world-class visual and performing arts.
This performing arts complex, situated on the Kimberly K. Querrey and Louis A. Simpson Cultural Campus, was first known as The Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts. Artis Naples has two performance venues, Frances Pew Hayes Hall and the Myra J. Daniels Pavilion. The Hall provides just over 1,470 seats, while the Daniels Pavilion is a smaller place with simply under 300 seats. The Naples Philharmonic Orchestra calls the center home as does the Miami Ballet. Its calendar of events cuts a wide swath of entertainment.
It’s a small museum so it’s very possible to enjoy everything in one visit. You will enjoy the graphic design show, impressionists, and pieces from the permanent collection. One of the exhibits are the naturalistic sculptures of the Four Seasons by American artist and film-maker Philip Haas, the Fashioning Art from Paper by Belgian artist Isabelle De Borchgrave, a gallery of Magritte paintings that hadn’t been shown publicly for almost fifty years and If you love Dale Chihuly, the Persian Ceiling is worth the admission.

This is a must-see place you do not want to miss while in Naples, Florida. You must get there a bit early as parking can be a challenge if you don’t wish to walk a bit and make sure you book tickets early, shows sell out fast.
